However, aluminum foil still has fatal defects: the R-value is too high, and the high thermal conductivity makes it unable to be used as single thermal insulation and fireproof material.
Fiberglass fabric solves this problem very well, with thermal insulation, flame retardant, heat resistance, chemical resistance, strong wear resistance, and stretch resistance, making fiberglass fabric the best material for heat shielding.
Aluminum foil fiberglass cloth combines the advantages of the two. Although the temperature resistance of aluminum foil can only reach 153 °C, when combined with glass fiber, its rated working temperature can reach 260 °C/500 °F (ASTM D-6413 test standard ) and 200 lbs/inch (35.72 kg/cm) (ASTM-D-5035 test standard) gives this heat reflective curtain fabric enough to face more severe high-temperature environments and temperature protection scenarios.
